Tractor Design Rewarded in Singapore

Another major international award went to a designer from Zlín. A tractor design by MgA. David Polášek, a graduate from the Product Design Studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, was successful in the competition Red Dot Design Award - Design Concept 2011.

The Red Dot Design Award was founded in Germany in 1955. At present it is one of the most important international competitions in product design. In 2005, Red Dot established an award for design innovations and design concepts, with the annual award ceremony held in Singapore. David Polášek had to compete with more than three and a half thousand participants from forty nine countries all over the world.
